What we do

The most effective way to block Donald Trump’s return to the White House – besides locking him up — is to achieve a margin of victory against him that is too large to be credibly challenged.  Along with millions of other Americans that is our goal.  We are a PAC that will work with the other organizations who share this objective.  Donald Trump still has yet to achieve a majority of the votes of Americans, having lost by 2.86M to Hillary Clinton and by 7.05M to Joe Biden, in the popular vote, or what is known in the rest of the world as “the election.”

We will spend the money we raise  to support efforts to enlarge the electorate by getting some of the tens of millions of unregistered voters to join the electorate.  Our focus will be the six states that will likely decide the outcome.

Our goal is to build support for the anti-Trump movement and make it more potent and effective.  Given Trump’s record and unrelenting refusal to recognize President Joe Biden’s victory in the 2020 election this is of paramount importance.   Given Trump’s lies, violence, threats, lawsuits and more lies, blocking his return to the presidency is an existential challenge for American Democrats and American democrats.  We will post content that would rally all Democrats, thinking independents and the few remaining reasonable Republicans.

The e-mail addresses ReDefeat Trump collects may be used to assist Democratic campaigns and party organizations with their online fundraising.   If you sign up for ReDefeat Trump you can unsubscribe with a simple click anytime.  The contributions this site receives will be invested in voter registration and mobilization of progressives.   First time voters accounted for 13% of voters in 2020, up from 10% in 2016.  We will give our financial support to people and organizations who directly take on the challenge of enlarging the electorate.  With effective organizing this source of votes can help provide the margin of victory in 2024.

You are welcome to start RedefeatTrump discussion sites but you will have to keep track of them as the online fascists will pollute it with unwelcome junk.  They are so certain that God is on their side they feel empowered not launch search and destroy missions.  No, they seldom speak on Trump’s behalf.  They’re real fascists who tear down and wreck anyone with contrary opinions.
 
Befriend like-minded people and ignore the delusional right-wing wackos and their threats.  You aren’t going to win them over and there is no point in trying.  Let them post every few minutes thinking they are helping Trump.  Meanwhile, you should become involved in registering new Democratic voters.

We also do not disrespect our peers. We are but one of thousands of activists, Democrats, patriots, unions, small groups, PACs, bloggers, podcasters and thinking Americans working hard to protect the country we love from the far right politician we loathe.  Everyone is entitled to their own perspectives, policy priorities, tactics, strategies, rhetoric, goals.  We don’t speak for the united opposition to Trump, just ourselves.  Let 1,000 anti-Trump flowers bloom.
 
Finally, we do not debate the delusional. Why bother?
